1) What bill do you hate paying the most?My credit card.
2) Where was the last place you had a romantic dinner?
Um…I don’t really know to be honest.
3) What do you really want to be doing right now?At home working on stuff that is more important than sitting at work.
4) How many schools did you attend?Three – two primary schools because the year I was in Std 2 my mom was also teacher that std and didn’t want me in the same year as her. So I was sent to a new school – just for the year.
5) Why did you choose the shirt that you have on right now?
Because its warm – it’s a polo neck jersey.
6) What are your thoughts on petrol prices?There are no thoughts to be honest. I have no idea what the current price is!
7) First thought when you woke up this morning?Argh – hit snooze (which we did and it made us all rush as a result)
8) Last thought before going to sleep last night?I can’t remember – probably about doing washing or something equally boring.
9) Do you miss being a child?Sometimes. I miss the lack of responsibility and the freedom to just be innocent.
10) What errand/chore do you despise?Cleaning in general. I don’t mind vacuuming but washing floors and wiping counters/tables – not feeling that too much!
11) Get up early or sleep in?
I used to be a get up early kinda girl but David taught me the beauty of sleeping in. So if I have a weekend of no kids – then sleep in but if I have kids then getting up before everyone can be nice.
12) Have you found real love yet?
Yes.
13) Favorite lunch meat?Chicken or tuna.
14) What do you get most time you go into a grocery store?
Sweets – sad but true! I am a sucker for those dam sweet shelves at the check out!
15) Beach or lake?Beach. Lakes scare me – Loch Ness and all that!
16) Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual?No. I think it is a beautiful celebration of commitment and love.
17) Sopranos or Desperate Housewives?Sopranos.
18) What famous person would you like to have dinner with?Drew Barrymore.
19) Have you ever crashed your vehicle?
Yes! Into the side of a mountain in Pilgrims Rest. We may or may not have been intoxicated at the time.
20) Ever had to use a fire extinguisher for its intended purpose?
No
21) Ring tone?Some random Samsung tune cos my phone is about as old as the dinosaurs but I do have different tones for David and my mother.
22) Strangest place you have ever brushed your teeth?
My car? The bush?
23) Somewhere in South Africa you’ve never been and would like to go?
Hard one – I actually don’t know!
24) Do you go to church?Nope
25) At this point in your life would you rather start a new career or a new relationship?New career.

27) Do you have a go-to person?
Yes. I have a few.
28) Are you where you want to be in life?Not yet. In many areas I am but in some I am not.
29) Growing up, what were your favorite cartoons?Gummy Bears.
30) What about you do you think has changed the most?People who haven’t seen me in years always say “You havent changed” so I can say with much confidence that my looks haven’t changed much :-p I think now have more confidence in myself and the decisions I make and do things that I feel are right and not what my parents/friends etc feel is right.
31) Looking back at high school were they the best years of your life?
NO! I didn’t enjoy high school at all. I felt terribly misunderstood (as all teenagers do) and never felt I belonged to one specific “group” (which is important in high school)
32) Are there times you still feel like a kid?Yes
33) Do you have a pager?Nope
34) Where was the hang out spot when you were a teenager?
I have no idea. I can see the place but no idea what it was called? LOL I would love to say 330 but alas I was nowhere near that cool! I did go to Joe Cools a few times though!
35) Were you the type of kid you would want your children to hang out with?
Maybe. My kids are so different to me. Kiara and I would have probably had a punch up over who was in charge and Cameron would have lost interest because I wasn’t really a TV watching kinda kid!
36) Who do you think impacted your life the most?There are a few people. Definitely my gran.
37) Was there a teacher or authority figure that stood out for you?Yes. Mrs Hudson, my english teacher. She was the first person who believed I could write. She took us to Grahamstown for the Arts Festival and was the only person who understood how important that place was to me.
38) Do you tell stories that start with “when I was your age”?Yes but only cos my kids ask me all the time about how things where when I was young
39) What was the first new car you purchased?
The car I own now – a Blue Hyundai Atos
40) What is the scariest thing that has happened to you as an adult?
Facing my demons. Had I not got divorced I don’t think I would ever have done this.
41) What advice would you give to someone about to get married?Be kind. Be gentle. Expect hard times. Love honestly. Compromise but never on your integrity and the things you believe in. If you doubt him – do not do it.
42) What’s your favorite room in your home and why?My study! It has a book case overflowing with books, it has a few of my favourite things in, it has our vision boards up. It is cramped and honestly just awesome!
43) What advice would you give someone starting their first job?
It gets better!
44) If you could go back and change one thing you did, what would it be?I would have finished my law degree.
45) If you could go back and change one thing someone else did, what would it be?
I am not sure. I have issues with the way my father treated us when I was growing up. It has impacted a lot of my adult life so maybe if I had to choose it would be that..
