April Round Up
April is always a very disjointed month with all the public holidays, school holidays and birthdays. This April was no different. There was a flurry of activity and suddenly the month was over.
The Highlights
- It was my birthday. We kept it very low key and just went out to dinner but I had such a lovely day. Cameron and David got me a little espresso machine and I absolutely love it. It is so nice to be able to make delicious cappuccinos at home.
- David also got me a voucher from Doodles and I got so much gorgeous paper and stickers and have been scrapbooking up a storm. Poor Emma hardly has any pages, so I am focusing on her for now.
- It was also Kiara’s birthday. We unfortunately did not get to celebrate with her but from the photos we got, it looks like she had an fun time.
- Emma started netball. We have been trying for a while to find a place nearby and did find one but it was mainly school going children and Emma just wasn’t vibing. Fortunately one of the homeschool moms decided to start a mini club so she is now back with her people.
- David’s aunt was here from Cape Town and we had a lovely family lunch.
- We had a very chilled Easter. I did a small Easter egg hunt for the kids and we had a lovely meal.
What Am I Watching
- Well Dear Reader, obviously I had to watch Bridgeton Season 2 and not because I enjoyed Season 1 a whole lot but because I love Nicola Coughlan and the build up to Season 3 had me hooked. I can’t wait for the new season.
- I started watching Abbott Elementary a while ago, it is one of those shows that gets better as it goes. I am currently on Season 3 and it is the best one so far.
What are you watching at the moment?
