The kids and I had a rather busy weekend and I was exhausted last night!!!
After gym on saturday we decided to join the library! I have been meaning to do it for ages now but we just get busy and never seem to get there. I am so glad we made it on saturday though! The kids loved it. Kiara did a mad dash around the kiddies section and initial grabbed about 50 books. After a process of elimination she managed to choose only 6 and hasnt stopped reading them. Cameron put a little more thought into this choice and got some Dinosaur and Shark books on top of the few stories he chose.
And the best part was the kids join for free. I had no idea you still get things for free these days!! The catch was though I had outstanding fines from 1999!!!!!!!
Sunday after lunch at the Spur we went on a train trip around Pretoria with Ansie and Natasha. It was loads of fun!! Although I do think the kids may be a bit young to fully appreciate the trip and the bigger ones lost interest half way through and started playing some cat and dog game rather loudly! But I at least got to catch up with my friends.
My decision to cut alchohol was re-affirmed though! I had 4 Spins and had a TERRIBLE headache when I got home I eventually went to bed at 19h30 it was so bad and this morning I feel terrible!
All in all it was a great weekend!

What a fun day! Getting books from the library and going on a train ride… my kids would’ve thought that was better than Christmas.
