No one got time for that!

I visited the Dr today, first time since I had my pregnancy test done with him for Emma. It really was a little episode I could have done without.

Short story I seem to have some sort of crazy tummy issues. It started on Wednesday and culminated in a really horrid night last night where I was having weird cold sweats, my skin was incredibly itchy and there may have been some up-chucking this morning. I could barely stand this morning and am SO glad that David only left for Nigeria this afternoon and not yesterday so that he could take the kids to school. I slept until 11h00 and only got up to go to the Dr and then slept again until the kids got home.

Honestly I could have done without this little bump in the road. Last week I was super productive and was hoping to carry that on this week but am now a little behind.

You know what else I “ain’t got time for”

Tax! I know we have to do it but it is such a pain. When you work for a company it is pretty much all done for you but I have income from a few places, so not as simple as that! But it has forced me to sit down and sort out my income.

Spam SMS. These are me END! I hate them and there is nothing you can do to avoid them. There is no spam folder they can go in to!

Babies who do not want to nap! I really ain’t got time for that. Emma is sleeping fine at night now but is fighting her day time nap. She happily plays on the bed, throws her bottle around, throws the pillows – anything but sleep.

People who refer to their domestic as “mine” as in “mine also steals” or “they are all the same”. I am naively appalled when I see the way women talk about the people who work for them and look after there single most important thing – their child!

Fighting kids. There is a dynamic that exists between my kids when they are all in the same place, it is explosive. Three are fine, two are even better but put all four together and all hell breaks lose! After watching it, I have realised that the instigator 9/10 times is Cameron. We had a bit of a chat about earlier, hopefully some of sunk in.

Cars and the nonsense that comes with them. My car is making a weird noise! Which means I have to deal with Hyundai again – some of you may remember that didn’t end well last time.

What don’t you have time for?

  1. Hope you are feeling better?

    Your list made me laugh.

I’ve learnt to pick my battles – K doesn’t like to nap but sleeps well at night. I would rather have that than napping and no night sleeping. But that’s just me.

  2. Hope you feeling better soon! Regarding the sleep issues hope they get sorted out soon as well don’t mind kids giving up the afternoon sleep but do mind it when they get grumpy from not having it. Hope you come right with your tax issues (u welcome to give me a shout if u need some help). and pet peeve at the moment is dealing with people who think they know so much about stuff but really know nothing, learner drivers on the road during peak hour traffic

  3. I hope you are better? I hate being sick. I dont have time for people that make issues out of things that are not really issues. If you do not agree 100% but onoy 80% – let it go! As the movie says.

  4. Hope you’re feeling better in a jiffy. Also, I hear you on the kids’ fighting. It’s the same with us – take just one of the four out of the mix and suddenly they’re all angels. Put them all together for anything more than an hour and you have DEFCON 1 on your hands…
