It has been a while since I have done a thankful thursday.
Right now I am very thankful for the roof over our head. Winter is a brutal season and it may be small and it may be chaos some days but our little house is warm. We have jackets and gowns and blankets to keep us warm.
I remember when Jack and I came home from the hospital last year this time it was freezing – we spent the first few weeks in our room – door closed, heaters on. It was just too cold to be anywhere else.
I am also thankful for thick pink socks! If my feet are not warm then I can not get warm – it doesn’t matter how many jackets and what not I have on.
And my big blue gown I got for my birthday 2 years ago – I LOVE it.
Of course winter is not complete without slippers – in fact life is not complete without slippers. I would wear my slippers 24/7 if David would let me :-p

I am not really a slippers kind of girl but I am exactly like you with regards to cold feet – if my feet are cold, I am miserable no matter how much clothing I have on !

In other words. I am sooo thankful for WINTER and ALL it’s benefits. And of course I am thankful for series on DVD AND the internet!
