July is the month where the year shifts into 4th gear and we start barreling towards the end of the year.

Highlights

  • Cameron went back to Cape Town. He has a job, at least for the next 6 month but possibly longer. He is staying with my parents for now. We were sad to see him go but he needs to take the next step.
  • I have started hiking. We have so many beautiful trails in and around Pretoria and it gets us all out the house.
  • I have also started spending more time in my garden again. I missed it, I can’t wait for Spring.
  • David and I visited the Good Life show over the weekend and it was fantastic. We discovered so many amazing products and it inspired me to get back to more plant based meals.
  • We discovered Emma’s one leg is growing faster than the other. It should even out as she grows but for now she has an insert in her shoes to help with her joint pain.
  • Emma had her first sleepover. She was so nervous but they had so much fun.
  • I have started posting a little more regularly to Instagram – just little daily glimmers in my life. I would love it if you followed me 🙂

What am I Watching

  • There is a new season of Will Trent out, I am enjoying this series.
  • Criminal Minds also has a new season out, it took a while but it is getting good.
  • The Recruit on Netflix
  • Night Agent on Netflix
  • MasterChef Australia – this is the only MasterChef I watch.
  • And of course the Olympics!

What am I Reading

  1. Woman of a Certain Rage – Georgie Hall

This book is so funny! I have laughed out loud in so many places.
