So that was July
July was one of those extreme months. There were some really great highs but also some pretty low lows. I was pretty glad to see the back of it if I am honest! There was definitely some bad moojoo vibes hanging around.

A quick round up of what happened during July.
- The kids and I visited the Timbavati and had an amazing time!
- David’s dad had a pretty major surgery that he is still recovering from, so David has spent a lot of time between home and the hospital.
- We started school again for the first time in a about 6 weeks. It was one of the longest breaks we have had so it took us a while to get back into it.
- David and I went on one of the best date nights ever. If you are in Pretoria, you need to visit Raya in Hazelwood.
- I had a bit of an episode with my health and had a week of really (really) terrible exhaustion. Fortunately I have a really great homeopath who changed up meds and we seem to be back on track. .
- I have resurrected my veggie garden. We have already had some of the spinach!
- I had probably one of the worst meetings I have had in my working career. It really knocked me – I can handle a lot but not underhanded nonsense.
It might not sound like it was a lot but it was a lot of ups and downs jam-packed into 31 days!
