As you know Cameron is a swimmer. You would think that because he spends so much time in water his skin wouldn’t need hydrating, well that thinking is wrong. The pool water sucks the life out his skin. Added to that he is on medication for his skin which further dries out his skin.
As a result he uses tubs and tubs of cream to try hydrate his skin. We have previously used only creams that are specifically aimed at hydrating. They work just fine but nothing really seems to hydrate enough.
I was interested to see how the new Ingrams range held up and if it helped.
In 2017, the heritage brand has taken on the mission of adding Body Lotions with unique formulations enriched with natural goodness to care for and repair skin. This launch of the female/family and male Body Lotions brings natural ingredients together for a pleasantly non-greasy, fast absorbing and 48-hour Moisture Lock. Rich, gentle, nourishing and refreshing with protective active ingredients
We were sent products in both the female and male range. The Ingram’s Female/Family Body Lotion range includes four variants:
- Tissue Oil: A sumptuous blend of special oils to restore dry and dull skin with 48-hour Moisture Lock.
- Triple Glycerine Moisture Plus: With 3x more glycerine, this lotion delivers intense moisturisation for very dry skin.
- Triple Butter: A rich blend of Shea, Cocoa and Jojoba butters to revitalise normal to dry, dull skin, the Triple Butter Lotion leaves skin with a pleasant, nourished feel.
- Herbal: Formulated to restore and soothe very dry and damaged skin, this unique herbal blend locks in moisture for 48 hours.
The Ingram’s Male Body Lotion and Cream variants specifically formulated for the toughest skincare needs of men includes:
- Extreme Moisture: Available in a cream and lotion, and has 3x more the moisturising agent for dry, dull skin.
- Active Boost: With energising Creatine to revitalise dry and dull skin.
- Ultra Cool: With cooling Menthol for a fast cooling sensation when applied.
Getting Cameron to review products is always touch and go because he isn’t one for words but when I asked him about this cream he had a lot to say. It was really hydrating his skin nicely and wasn’t greasy. He also said he only had to use a little bit each time. I could see the difference in skin, it wasn’t looking like a matt photo anymore but more like a glossy one but without any oiliness.
David has been using the menthol lotion and is loving it just as much. He says it tingles when you apply it which is actually quiet nice. He battles with dry skin as well so this men’s range was really welcomed.
My favourite is the Triple Butter, it is a combination of Shea, Jojoba and Cocoa butter and it smells absolutely amazing.
If you, or someone in your family is suffering from dry skin then this is definitely a range to try. You can find out more on their website or follow them on Facebook and Twitter for more information about how to care for your skin.

Thank you for your guidance. I know that winters here are rough on our skin and I still haven’t found a lotion that works. I’ll look into these.
