On saying NO!

I wrote my exam this morning! It was easier than I expected but harder than I hoped.

I am hoping I passed but well it’s up to the marking gods now.

But I decided on my home that I am not writing the next two – the next one is the 27 May and the final one 2 June – I will be 37 weeks pregnant (if baby doesn’t arrive before that) and I am sure my Dr will agree that it really is just too much right now. I can’t sit for long because I get sore, I am tired blah blah – I know women have written at 37 weeks pregnant and woot to them but I just cannot.

Also I called the PTA at the school and let them know I won’t make the meeting tonight. I signed up to help with Fundraising in February I think and really want to help but the timing of this project just doesn’t work for me right now. So it has to go for now.

I went to collect my printing and it wasn’t ready so was about to cram it into my afternoon by going back later and then rushing to fetch kids but instead I told the dude they can please deliver for me since I am not far away. He agreed.

For now my focus is the baby and getting him out as calmly (and as soon) as is possible ๐Ÿ™‚

As much as I wanted to be able to fit it all in I can’t. Not now anyway.

So something had to give!

I think that you are making the right decision. You can always write the remainder of your exams in the next semester when you are more settled with a new baby and your business.
Your focus is meant to be on Jack right now and creating a peacefu, calm environment for him to arrive into ASAP.
Good on you for standing up for yourself and your baby.

Definitely a wise decision Laura. You can’t do it all.

Rather enjoy your last weeks of pregnancy than stress yourself out.

Happy Mommy will make a Happy Baby!

It can wait Laura and people will understand.
You need the next few weeks to be as unbusy as possible and get the rest you need before baba arrives!

I agree with you. You have to focus on him now. It’s just fair towards both of you.

Good for you. Hope this means you can now relax and enjoy this last stretch before the little man makes his grand entrance! ๐Ÿ™‚
Am so looking forward to meeting your Jack. It seems like forever ago that I first held my Jack and welcomed him – it goes so quickly, it’s really worth making it as easy and peaceful an experience as possible for all concerned!

    I am impressed!
