I tried to figure out the other day how many nappies I have changed in my 13 years as a mother. I am not even sure it is accurately possible but what I do know is that it was a lot. Like a lot a lot, the a lot that would possibly make me a Huggies shareholder!
One of the worst things about nappies is the smell (obviously). Even just wee nappies stink. It is gross! We live in a double storey and even in a bin with a lid, the only real way to get rid of the smell is to traipse downstairs, tie the nappy in a packet and throw it in the big bin. It is a pain!
The Korbell Nappy Bin solved this problem though! It is a fantastic nappy bin that takes those stinky nappies, seals them, leaving us with an odour free environment. We have been using it for a few months now and I can honestly say it is one of the best gadgets out there!
The added advantage with this bin is that you can use it as a normal bin as well. We ran out of the bags a few weeks ago and I just haven’t gotten around to replacing them but we are still using it as a nappy bag and it is working just as well! So you are able to use it as a normal bin once your child has outgrown nappies (which hopefully isn’t too long for us).
I will admit to thinking that these nappy bins were just unnecessary gimicks but honestly this bin is really great, if you are having a baby or have just had a baby then I really can recommend you add this to your list of must haves!
You can get them at Baby City, ToysRUs, PicknPay and Takealot!
We also LOVED this bin! We used it til Charly was about a year old and her stink nappies went from 7 a day to 1 a day. I wouldn’t have survived having a newborn and having to run up and down stairs after every nappy to avoid smells! And you are right, it totally seals in the smells. Great buy 🙂
Mandy did you buy the 15 lt or 26 lt?
Same bin we use though I still haven’t figured out how to use it as regular bin. And I’ve stopped buying the refills – just too pricey
