On the days I weigh-in I generally give myself a little treat so yesterday I decided to make us an Apple Crumble for dinner.
This is the first time I have used the food processor and it worked so well, super quick and easy and I didn’t have to suffer my way through my sensory issues but rubbing the butter into the flour.
It really is one of the quickest but yummiest recipes you can make and is a winner with everyone (except my fussy eaters)

Notes
I used Earthborne gluten free flour - I substituted it gram for gram.
I used white sugar for this one but would definitely use brown sugar next time.

Thank you! Making this for dessert on Friday night. I wonder if you can substitute sugar for a sugar replacement (spoon for spoon type thing)?

Is there something in the air? 🙂
Well, I made an apple crumble with Connor on Sunday too. Mainly because it’s on my winter bucket list and this was the 2nd last weekend of winter.
I use a recipe I got off the Se7en blog – I only had 3 big apples so I halved the recipe. She leaves the skin on and honestly, you don’t even notice. And there are oats involved which feel healthy so WIN-WIN!
I think I’ll have some for dessert tonight 😉

I love apple crumble and will definitely try this recipe.
I sometimes add pear when I don’t have enough apples
