A1 Fruit Water - sugar free sparkling water | Sustainable Living with HarassedMom
FINALLY! A1 Fruit Water - a sugar free sparkling water that has been sustainable made and tastes delicious.

Do you know what is virtually impossible to find? Sugar free items that are not jam-packed with other rubbish (like gluten, or unhealthy sugar substitutes). I cut out sugar about 6 months ago and it’s been a very frustrating journey when it comes to finding sugar-free alternatives. Simply going without is fine when we are home, but sometimes I just feel like something nice.  Tap water gets a little boring when you go out to a braai or picnic with friends. A1 Fruit Water have solved this problem for me.

I love sparkling water but because all sparkling water comes in plastic bottles, I stopped drinking it years ago. I do miss it sometimes – mainly in the height of summer when nothing really quenches your thirst like ice cold sparkling water.

It was for this reason that I was really keen to try out the new A1 Fruit Waters. They are a local brand that makes a range of sparkling waters that are sugar free and sustainable made in cans and not plastic bottles.

There are 3 flavours – lemon, grapefruit and mandarin. Real fruit is used to flavour the sparkling water and you can taste that no sugar or anything else has been added. The flavours are subtle but delicious! My personal favourite is the mandarin with the lemon a close second.

These waters are also sugar free which is a huge positive for me. It means I get to enjoy sparkling water without having to worry about the sugar content.

The fact that they are sugar free means they are really great for kids. You can add them to their lunch boxes or pack in if you are going on a walk or a picnic. Both Jack and Emma enjoyed all 3 flavours.

You can find A1 Fruit Waters in selected Pick n Pay, Spar and Caltex stores. You can also buy online from Takealot.

I am definitely stocking up for summer!
