Rugby one of my favourite sports to watch. It is fast, it is exciting and the players aren’t horrible to look at. We aren’t fanatical rugby fans but we do enjoy watching it. I grew up in KwaZulu/Natal and the Sharks are like an institution down there. Very few people born in KZN change teams, even when the Sharks are having a bad season. My father in law is a huge rugby fan, I don’t think there is anything he doesn’t know about all the players, the teams, the stadiums etc so Jack and Emma often spend their weekends watching rugby, by default. 
When I was approached to take part in this campaign I was excited that the aim is trying to get people back into the stadiums. My dad watched sport a lot, so we followed the Currie Cup and any other matches that were happening at the time and I remember seeing the stadiums jam-packed. It didn’t matter if it was in Cape Town or Durban, the people turned up. A few weeks ago David and I attended a match at the Emirates Lion Park Stadium and it was so empty. Yes it wasn’t a major game but I was still shocked at how few people make it to the games today.
Watching a rugby game is one of those outings that everyone in my family can enjoy. Cameron enjoys rugby (as a spectator) and the stadiums allow for the kids to run around a little, they don’t need to sit still for 90 minutes.
So to the point of this post, as a family, we will be going to watch the game on Saturday and I have some tickets up for grabs for you guys 🙂

I’m keen for the Bulls to catch a wake-up and get back to dominating. But I’m also pretty impressed with the Lions and the way they’ve taken charge. I’d love to treat D and some friends to a day at the rugby!

In our house we argue about teams! I’m a Lions supporter, since I was little, through thick and think. My hubby is a bulls supporter, so you can imagine on game day.
