Gluten-free Brownies

  • 1.5 cups Dates, chopped
  • 1 cup Hot Water
  • 3/4 cups Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 cup Gluten-free Flour (plus 2 TBSP)


  • Place the dates and the hot water in the food processor and blend until blended smooth.
  • Add in the rest of the ingredients one by one and blend until smooth and blended well.
  • Pour into a greased square cake tin.
  • Bake at 180C for 25 minutes
