Halloween Snacks for Kids

Emma had market day at school last week Friday. I forgot. She reminded me on Thursday evening hat about 17h10, just before she went into dancing. I managed to make it happen, thanks to some quick thinking followers on Instagram who gave me some cool ideas. (Marshmallows dipped in chocolate are super quick and easy to make, in case you need something last minute).

Some schools do celebrate Halloween but maybe you celebrate and are looking for some cute, easy snacks for kids. These are some of my favourites.

Rice Krispie Treats are really easy to make and they taste so delicious. I made them for Emma’s birthday and they were a hit. These monster treats are super cool and not just for Halloween snacks but perfect for a monster themed party. Halloween Snack Ideas | HarassedMom

I never made the connection between naartjies and pumpkins until this post. Aren’t these just too cute? And so easy to make. My kids eat naartjies and oranges by the bag, so this is a great snack. You could use oranges for bigger ones and then naartjies for smaller ones. Halloween Snack Ideas | HarassedMom

How sweet are these bat brownies? They are more cute than scary but still fit in with the Halloween theme so well. These would be cute for bakerman at school over Halloween or even if you are Trick or Treating you could give these out.Halloween Snack Ideas | HarassedMom

If you do want something a little scarier then these Oreo eyeballs are perfect. They are also an easy Halloween snack to make, one the kids can help with. (If you want a cheaper version, Checkers has some cheaper Oreo substitutes.)Halloween Snack Ideas | HarassedMom

This isn’t really a Halloween snack but I think its really cool. Another super easy one that can work if you have to send stuff to school. It is a nice one to do last minute because you need very little to make it happen. Halloween Snack Ideas | HarassedMom

Will you be making Halloween snacks this year?

  1. Thanks for sharing those great fun snacks. I will share this post with my daughter, I bet she will want all of them.

  2. I am making at least two Halloween snacks this year! I’m the snack mom for my middle’s class party & will also be taking snacks to my SIL’s for trick-or-treating! Love the monster rice krispy treats – those candy eyeballs are something I’ve wanted to try forever!
