Homemade Hummus

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 TBSP oil - I used coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • water
  • salt

Equipment

  • Food processor

Method
 

  1. Mix the tahini, lemon juice and oil in a food processor until creamy.
  2. Add the chickpeas and garlic and blend. Slowly add the water, blending after each addition. Keep adding water until it is the right consistency for you.
  3. Add salt to taste.
