This is the last brand in this series but by no means the last of the awesome local brands. I found Cawi & Co while working with Jaclyn from Schnooky Pie and they are a gorgeous brand with some amazing clothes for toddlers. They are also a Proudly South African brand run by yet another talented mom.
Cynthia is a passionate Interior Designer, Mother and Wife. Her idea of Cawi Kids & Co. came alive, when she had her first daughter Giselle in March 2015. Inspired by her little baby girl, she connected the dots of creativity and her love for Patterns, Fabrics, Colours, Illustrations & Animals.
The name Cawi is the result of brainstorming words, Cynthia wanted to reflect the brand. Cool, Adventurous, Wonderful, Inspired is the motto of Cawi Kids & Co.
The three main characters are Lala the Rabbit, Finn the Fox and Yves the Raccoon. Their story is about travelling the world and meeting lots of new animal friends.
All Cawi products are handmade and proudly manufactured in South Africa.
I find my kids treasure hand made toys like this a lot more than they do mass produced one, it is almost like they know they are special characters made just for them. This little koala bear is name Jack, isn’t he sweetest little thing?
