What is on your Christmas wish list this year?
It has taken me a while to get into the Christmas spirit this year but putting together a wish list always helps to get into the festive mood! If I am honest, I hadn’t even thought about what I wanted this year until very recently.
Kiara and Niki have officially moved out, we have gone from having 6 people in the house to having 4. This means we suddenly have a lot of space – for the first time in nearly 11 years!
We are slowly breathing life back into the house, I am having fun planning and redecorating the various rooms we have. It is, obviously, a work in progress because two kids in tertiary education is not cheap. A few days after Kiara left, we filled the bus up with recycling and donations – I actually think I heard the walls of the house breathe a sigh of relief. We also moved a lot of furniture to the garage because we just don’t need so many beds and shelves in the house.
My Christmas wish list is, therefore, made up mainly of things I want for the house but there are a few things I would like just because they are amazing.
For The House
Wall Art for my office – I am so in love with this wall art! It will go perfectly in my home office. The kids are getting older now and able to work on their own so I can transform my home office and make it a little more sophisticated.
Plant Stands – Our puppy doesn’t like things to be on the ground and I have a few plants doing really well in my lounge so raising them up like this is perfect and this colour works perfectly.

Rug – I am still deciding if I like this rug for the lounge or our bedroom. I have avoided rugs, but I think it is what my lounge is missing.
Duvet Set – Our linen is all looking a little sad, this blue set is perfect and matches with our room colour scheme perfectly.

Laundry Basket – Isn’t this stunning? We have one of those ugly plastic ones in the kid’s bathroom, but this would look much better, right?
Bathmats – We need one of these for all the bathrooms. Hopefully with fewer people using them they will last longer than the ones we have had.
For Me
Me & B Drop Waist Dress – This is my absolute favourite brand. I have their plain black dress and one of their blouses and I feel so amazing every time I wear them! I would actually love pretty much their entire range but will settle for this floral print dress.
Me & B Dress – I am trying to add a little colour to my wardrobe and what better way to do that than with this amazing dress. Isn’t the print just so bright and happy.

Floral Street Candle – I would love one of each of these candles just to be able to fill my home with wonderful fragrances.
Planner – These big planners help me keep my life together. I love being able to see the whole month on one page. The advantage of this one is you can easily hang it up!

Coffee Kit – I don’t really need this at all but isn’t it just gorgeous? Coffee making is an experience for me and I feel like this would just enhance that experience.
Tablecloth – I bought an outside table recently and this table cloth is perfect.
