On reaching my goal weight!

I reached my Weigh-Less goal weight yesterday! I have been on Weigh-Less many times and each time I have lost but have never stayed until I have reached my goal weight but this time I was determined. I have the sweetest group leader who was more excited than I was when she saw the numbers.

There has always been a excuse reason why I have stopped – I moved, I was only 0.6kg away so figured I could do it myself, pregnancies etc but now there was nothing preventing me from going. I have had my babies and I can now admit that I can’t do it on my own!

One of the main reasons why I think this particular eating plan works for me is because nothing is excluded. I can pretty much eat anything and there is even a few Weigh-less approved wines. I enjoy my food – a lot and if I can’t eat something I just want it more, so this eating plan works well because as long as I stick to my formula and amounts I can eat anything. The weigh-less magazines have recipes for cakes, desserts and a whole host of other things so I don’t actually feel like I am on diet.

The best part of losing weight is that I can now go into a clothes shop, chose a top or pants, try it on and it actually looks like it is supposed to and doesn’t make me feel like a hippo in a tutu. I can wear things I want to and not focus on hiding the back fat or muffin top.

I also finally don’t feel like the frumpy soccer mom who looks harassed all the time (ok maybe weight-loss doesn’t affect my harassed state). Kiara actually told me the other day she likes my style – which is high praise coming from her.

I have always been a firm supporter of Weigh-Less, it might not be as sexy as some of the other diets and eating plans out there but it works and is something you can easily incorporate into your families daily life, it isn’t expensive because you can really eat anything as long as you stick to your formula and daily allowances. Also if you are a Discovery Vitality member you only pay R154 per month which really isn’t a lot! And once you reach you goal weight you can weigh in monthly for free!

For the first time in many years I am actually excited about summer holidays that require swimming costumes!

This was not a sponsored post – I just really do like the programme.
