Chalkboard Advent Calendar

One of my favourite things about Christmas is advent calendars. My mom has made us a few over the years and we love filling the pockets each year. When I was browsing Christmas craft ideas, I found a chalkboard advent calendar and I fell in love. It is such a simple idea but there is so much you can do with it. They are also really great for a more minimal, waste-free option.

The Crazy Store has these chalkboard vinyl stickers that you can stick anywhere. They are pretty easy to take off the wall, you can move them around or take it off when Christmas is over.

I stuck ours onto the wall before trying to draw on it. There are so many different designs but I stuck with something simple. I drew the blocks and then wrote the numbers on. Simple as that. Kiara then wrote the words on for us.

The bunting at the top is actually made up of gift tags I had leftover from last year. The little circles are also gift tags. If you look through the things you already have I am sure you will find something to use to decorate with.

I love how it came out and you could use it as a general monthly planner once Christmas is over.

I have created a Pinterest board for a few other Chalkboard Advent Calendar Ideas.

Disclaimer: I was sent these craft supplies by the Crazy Store in exchange for a blog post. The craft ideas are my own.
