I have just decided, together with my colleagues that we are on strike – with immediate effect!

Our demands are simple

  • 20% increase ANNUALLY
  • 85% housing allowance (so what ever we pay they pay 85%)
  • Full medical aid on Discoverys Platinum Plan
  • 65% car allowance (so again whatever we pay they pay 65%)
  • 50% contribution to school fees/varsity fees or whatever fees we have to pay for our children.

We are aware that these demands may will cripple the company but we do not care!

We are also aware that these demands may result in us all loosing our jobs but we do not care. If they let go of our CEO then that will cover our demands – LOGIC PEOPLE LOGIC!

We are not going to increase our productivity once these demands have been met. We will be spending lunches having physio, doing gym etc – thanks to our new discovery health plan!

We are also not going to say thank you – ever for actually employing us. It’s MY RIGHT to have a job. The unemployed are just lazy and don’t want to work – thats not my fault! I arrive every morning to my place of employment. If the taxis were on time I would be on time – so again not my fault I am late. I am here! Be grateful.

So thats that really. I will be shutting down now.

On my way home to protest I am going to bash my colleagues car window in, she is taking her time getting out the building and then I am going to punch a customer for daring to think he can ask me for help on my way out to STRIKE!

  1. luv the post-problem with the striking is they loose money the days they are away and then their unions end up agreeing with what has been offered by employer and they loose again cos probally after tax they go home with less money-oh and on the housing allowance front i get one but i still cant afford a house -it just looks important on your salary advise

  2. Lose is spelled, “Lose”, not “Loose” – Just saying 🙂

And yes, it all makes so much sense, I’m on my way to close down the highway and get my ass shot with rubber bullets! Woo hoo!!!

  3. I should change jobs and join your company. I’m the CEO, receptionist, shop flooor manager, accountant and floor sweep at the company I work for. So where do I declare my strike? And who’s gonna pay if my employer can’t afford my demands?
