I have a sick kid at home.
I have had sick kids on and off pretty much the entire winter. It’s been much fun. But now Cameron is proper sick 🙁 He apparently has sinusitis and between him and Kiara they have 8 bottles of medicine. Just hope that this finally clears them up.
I was at home with them yesterday and have left Cameron with Mary today so he can at least rest and try and get better!
On sunday I decided to sort out the little garden outside my kitchen and ended up playing tug of war with, what my mom says is a Delicious Monster. It is the worst plant EVER! It has roots coming off every part of it like snakes! I dug and pushed and pulled and kicked and eventually did get it out and got my little herb garden planted 🙂 I am super excited about it.
It looks like I may have to cancel the tea party on Saturday so please let me know if you want to come before I actually do cancel it!

Hi there. I want to come for the tea party but I’m sure that if you do have to cancel it, we all will understand.
Good luck with the sick kids at home
i’ve always wanted a herb garden!
let us know what you planted and how it all grows… also wanna see pics of it 🙂
well done for winning the war against the delicious monster 😉
Ag ja, seems I have 3 guys down! Ugh, on sick kids.
You definitely have LOTS going on, don’t you? Thank you for the bloggy love, my southern hemisphere sister.
Sending you strength and hugs and love throughout your cold, sickly winter!!
enjoy your herb garden 🙂
herb gardens are the best. what have you planted? Wild basil is amazing – it can get to shrub size and just keeps on going and going and going… makes yummy pesto!
Denise – so far I have leeks, oregano (creeping one), curry tree and thyme. Will definitely look at the basil
Best of luck with the Herb Garden and getting your kids well.
