I am joining Weigh-Less today!

At 16h30 this afternoon we are starting over!

I am not unhappy with my weight but I am not happy either. I can be thinner but more importantly I can be healthier and right now I need a group leader looking at the numbers on the scale once a week to help me!

This weekend we ate and ate and ate and ATE! It really was rather gross! By Sunday morning I didn’t want to see a piece of meat, a chip or a marshmallow! I know weekends away are about eating and relaxing but honestly I could have added some fruit or at least more greens!

So today we are starting healthy! We do eat alot of fresh veggies and fruit at the moment but I also eat alot of rubbish and it ultimately makes me feel yuk! My tummy hurts, my skin looks terrible, my energy levels sag, I get headaches – just all round yukness.

I also need to try and get my kids to eat healthier. Kiara gets alot more fresh produce in than Cameron but they currently will only eat corn and carrots on the veggie side and thats not without a fight. So I am hoping by David and  eating healthier it will encourage them to join in.

I am also trying to cut out gluten and lactose for all of us and have found some lovely blogs of moms raising gluten intolerant kids. Now I just need to source all the products they use without breaking the bank!

  1. Good Luck. I lost 8kg a few years ago at Weigh Less. It changed my life. And I still stick to the principles to this day. It’s definitely a lifestyle change and you can totally do it..x

  2. Good luck with Weighless – it really is an awesome programme! Also, I think you are doing 2 things right 1) changing YOURSELF (just don’t be hard on yourself when you have a bad day) and 2) making lifestyle choices for you and your kids. 1 suggestion: make 1 change a week (or 2) for your kids, that will ultimately help them more than radical changes. You can chat to me regarding this if you have Q: it was suggested to me by a close friend who is a nutritionalist in the UK.

    All the best Laura
