Here we are, the last day of January. My gym classes that were packed during the first week are now thining out (thankfully), the kids are all settled and we all breathed a collective sigh of relief when our January salaries were paid! It has been quiet on the blog drop front but that doesn’t mean I haven’t discovered some really great brands and products. So what’s on my desk this month that I think you need to know about?
Bio-homeopathic Sinus + : I have been really struggling with hayfever/sinus/allergies since late last year. I wake up sneezing about 10 times. I had this stupid cough that was SO annoying and I felt yukky. I tried every over the counter medication out there but nothing helped. So I decided a few weeks ago to go natural and the first set of drops I used helped a little but then I bought these tablets and it has made such a huge difference. I know people either love natural remedies or hate them but they have always worked for. I bought these at Dischem, there are 150 tablets so they will last a while.
Enjoy Flirty Fun hand cream: We got this at the #jozimeetup last year but I rediscovered it last week and it hasn’t left my desk, literally. I love it, it smells amazing and leaves my hands silky smooth (but not oily). You can buy this brand at Clicks.
Masterblends Rustic Garlic and Herbs: This is the second Masterblend I have tried and I think I like it more than the first one we tried, it is a little more versatile than the other one and works so well in a mince and pasta dish. Seriously I would add all of these to your spice wrack.
All Joy Hot and Spicy Pasta sauce: I bought this to add to our nachos and it is so freaking amazing you guys. If you are nachos people, you MUST get this, it will change the entire dish! I made a chicken dish with it last night that was also so yummy. And of course you had can add it to pasta. Your local grocery store should have it.
Montego Sauce for Dogs: No one is forgotten in our home even Lucy gets blog drops. This sauce arrived today and she literally swallowed her food whole when I put it on. I love this brand, their food doesn’t smell offensive like some pet food.
Eureka Flour: Cameron asked if we could change his diet, he wants to take his swimming a little more seriously this year (I am not sure this is possible) so he would like to cut out processed foods, breads etc. Bread has a big place in our home, it is quick, cost effective and everyone eats it so I wasn’t about to stop buying it but I agree it is one of the most unhealthiest foods (well store bought ones). So I bought some Eureka Mills flour and made my own bread. It was a huge success, so we will no longer be buying bread!
